Keeping Mid-Maine Warm

$2,743 of $8,000 raised

Keeping Mid-Maine Warm is the local effort of a state-wide initiative called Keep ME Warm, the only statewide fuel assistance fundraiser in the state of Maine. The nine United Ways in Maine partner with the ten Community Action Programs for Project Heat. Project Heat is an annual telethon in January to raise the money to supplement existing fuel assistance programs throughout the state.

How Our Community Is Impacted:

During the 2017/2018 winter season we raised $8,000 locally to distribute to our partners, who then provided fuel to seventeen families in crisis.

Donate now to help keep your neighbors warm this winter.
