Resource Development Manager
United Way of Mid-Maine needs the right person to help us engage the community in our resource development and our annual fundraising campaign.
United Way of Mid-Maine is seeking an innovative, energetic individual to join our team as our Resource Development Manager. The person in this position will manage all elements of resource development for United Way of Mid-Maine including the annual fundraising campaign. He or she will provide primary staff support for United Way of Mid-Maine’s Campaign Chairs and Campaign Cabinet.
The Resource Development Manager will possess strong organizational, planning and analytical skills as well as keen attention to detail. This person must be able to motivate others and work well with many types of people. A focus on year-round relationship building with donors, campaign account representatives and volunteers is critical. This position requires leadership ability, professionalism, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

This position is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience is required. Two to four years’ direct experience in fundraising/resource development is preferred. Experience in a non-profit environment is also preferred. Computer proficiency and public speaking is necessary, experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising software preferred. A valid Maine Driver’s License is required.
